Earlier today, a Denver District Judge ruled that due to the COVID-19 outbreak’s impact on public health, and in turn, petition signature gathering, that the threshold for compliance is 50%.

That means that our 9,427 valid signatures puts us well over the newly required 5,250 threshold. We are now 180% compliant!

Seriously, we could not have done this without you! Our volunteer base of 192 circulators, plus the countless people who worked behind the scenes editing, liking and sharing posts/events, donating time and money, and so much more, helped us make history here in Colorado.

We’re not in the clear entirely, though. This ruling paves the way for us to get on the ballot, but we’re still looking at over $5,000 in legal fees to ensure this ruling applies to us too.

We have until Monday, April 27th to file our petition with the District Court to hear our case and make our ballot access official. Furthermore, we still have a primary to WIN!!!
