We can’t let the Trump administration put corporations above working families.

According to a new Pew poll, over 43% of Americans have lost their jobs or lost some of their wages in the COVID-19 crisis. In just over a week, many of them will have to make rent.

The working people of this country need our help. That’s why I’m proud to join with a coalition of progressive leaders to demand the next COVID relief bill includes economic relief, protection for our health workers, and more. Will you join me?

Due to stagnant wages and skyrocketing costs of living, working people were already in a precarious position before COVID-19. The foundations of our economy were already cracked — this pandemic merely revealed the breach.

At the same time, many of these massive corporations were handing out millions of dollars in stock buybacks, disproportionately benefiting the already-wealthy. We can’t let Trump or Republicans in Congress put those same corporations first.

Here’s what we’re fighting for:

1. Keep people on payrolls by ending layoffs and providing support for small businesses.
2. Provide financial relief by supporting folks with direct, recurring cash payments.
3. Protect public health by providing health care and personal protective gear to ALL health workers.
4. Defend elections by enacting a national vote-by-mail requirement so no one has to risk their life to cast a ballot.
