It has never been more important that Democrats retake the House of Representatives.
We saw the national Republican Party rally around a Vice Presidential nominee who has explicitly campaigned on an agenda to “end abortion.”
We heard promises to undo all the progress we’ve made together these last four years.
We saw extremist figures like Marjorie Taylor Greene take the stage to attack and demean LGBTQ+ people.
We have the power to determine whether we go down that road — or whether we elect a pro-choice Democratic majority in Congress that treats everyone with respect, and puts real solutions before empty politics. It’s our choice to make.
This election here in OR-06 is going to be incredibly close, and it’s going to decide which party controls Congress. I’m going to spend every day between now and Nov. 5 making the case for my vision for the future — but I can’t get that message out without your help. I won’t pretend we’re not up against a lot of challenges in this race. National Republicans have already reserved over $6 million — a staggering sum of money — to run ads in this media market.
But I promise you this: I will never, ever quit. I will do my very best to reach every single voter in our community and share my values, my vision, and my approach to leadership. I believe if that’s how we approach this election, we will succeed— in protecting this battleground seat and in flipping the House blue.
