Earlier this month, Republicans published a 900-plus page document known as Project 2025. This document is, as its ultraconservative authors put it, "a unique opportunity for conservatives to … build a better country for all Americans in 2025." In other words, it's a blueprint for the GOP's policy agenda if Trump wins the White House this November. 

And let’s be crystal-clear, John. This 19-plank agenda is as radical as it comes. 

Project 2025 would drastically expand the powers of the president and destroy the ability for the judicial or legislative branches to check abuses of power. And here are just a few ways they'd use that unchecked power: Government monitoring of pregnant individuals. Prosecuting those traveling out of state for a abortion care. Enforcing a "biblically based… definition of marriage and families." And so, so much more.
