** DEAR FRIENDS,
------------------------------------------------------------

There is another Boone County meeting this Thursday, July 18th. Boone County Board Meetings are held the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Thursdays of every month.

We know that you are getting countless requests from organizations to add your voice, or make phone calls, or donate. But we are not an organization that sits in our offices, hoping that you will do our work for us. We are out there every week, we are droning the steer tailing events, and we are going to these meetings. Across the country, we are working in the field! You help make our goals to help animals happen when you participate.

Your letters from all different areas is having an effect. The Boone County Board is taking notice! It was even mentioned at the last meeting that public comment letters came from 8 different states, which is wonderful! They know that it's not just SHARK, but the whole country and beyond wants a change. Thank you for your efforts!

At the last meeting the Chairman read many letters, but they need to keep hearing from us. It is so vital at this moment that we keep the pressure on and they know that the brutality that they are allowing within their county is unacceptable.

Thank you to everyone who wrote in last week. Let’s get more comments this week!

Remember, keep it short and professional!

Please write to Rod Riley, Chairman of the Boone County Board.

[email protected] (mailto:[email protected]?subject=&body=)

You must state your Name, Address and “Please read at this weeks meeting for Public Comment,” (We typically have this in the subject line)

And just write him a few quick sentences (it must be read in under 3 minutes) about how this is blatant animal cruelty and it must stop.
