The Stormwater Strategic Initiative has opened its Request for Proposals for Piloting Solutions to CECs in Wastewater. Up to $1 million in funding is available under this RFP. A successful proposal will address contaminants of emerging concern (CEC) issues in wastewater through new or innovative wastewater or pretreatment technologies. This can include fundamental research, piloting a new technology, installation, or a combination of the three, targeting reduced CECs in wastewater effluent. For more details, please read our blog post for this funding opportunity.
The full solicitation and application can be found on the Stormwater SIL’s funding page. Applications are due by October 22, 2024.
We are interested in working with partners to develop an approach that addresses known CEC issues in a specific location, and can help facilitate building coalitions to support strong technical proposals. If you're considering an application, we encourage you to contact Frances Bothfeld ([email protected]) and attend pre-application office hours on July 29 and August 5 (register through the website.)
Sincerely,
The Stormwater Strategic Initiative Lead Team
