Dear Mr. xxxxxx,
What happened in Pennsylvania Saturday evening was horrible. It has no place in our republic.
But, after being wounded, President Trump made his protectors stop. He then took the moment to stand right back up. He demonstrated in that moment great courage and clarity – he spoke for all of America.
Americans have always unified around the things that matter most – it’s inherent to who we are. It's not about putting a certain uniform of partisan ideals on; it's about going out there and fighting for principle. President Trump demonstrated that this weekend.
So please join me in praying for President Trump and his family, the family of Corey Comperatore – the father who was killed – and all those injured.
