Dom Jones Makes a Personal Commitment to The Vietnamese Community

Dom Jones, known as "Hạnh" in the Vietnamese community—a name derived from "Hạnh Phúc" meaning happiness—has a life story deeply intertwined with the Vietnamese American community. As a teenager without a home, Dom found refuge and a sense of belonging among Vietnamese Americans and a family that helped nurture her when she had no one else. This connection grew stronger during her three years of missionary service within the Vietnamese community, both in Little Saigon and Vietnam, where she lived among them, spoke their language, and dedicated herself to uplifting their spirits.

Dom’s heartfelt desire to see the Vietnamese community flourish is evident in her fluency in Vietnamese and her deep cultural understanding. Her passion led her to host a show on Pho Bolsa TV Network, where she continues to inspire and connect with viewers. Now, as a candidate for California State Assembly in Coastal Orange County, Dom is committed to making the needs, education, and resources of the Vietnamese community a top priority.

Dom Jones, được biết đến với cái tên “Hạnh” trong cộng đồng người Việt—tên bắt nguồn từ “Hạnh Phúc” có nghĩa là hạnh phúc—có một câu chuyện cuộc đời gắn bó sâu sắc với cộng đồng người Mỹ gốc Việt. Là một thiếu niên không nhà, Dom tìm được nơi nương tựa và cảm giác thân thuộc giữa những người Mỹ gốc Việt và một gia đình đã giúp nuôi dưỡng cô khi cô không còn ai khác. Mối liên hệ này ngày càng bền chặt hơn trong ba năm cô phục vụ truyền giáo trong cộng đồng người Việt, cả ở Little Sài Gòn và Việt Nam, nơi cô sống giữa họ, nói ngôn ngữ của họ và cống hiến hết mình để nâng cao tinh thần của họ.

Mong muốn chân thành của Dom được nhìn thấy cộng đồng người Việt phát triển được thể hiện rõ qua khả năng nói tiếng Việt thông thạo và hiểu biết sâu sắc về văn hóa của cô. Niềm đam mê đã khiến cô dẫn chương trình trên Pho Bolsa TV Network, nơi cô tiếp tục truyền cảm hứng và kết nối với người xem. Giờ đây, với tư cách là ứng cử viên cho Quốc hội Tiểu bang California ở Quận Cam ven biển, Dom cam kết đặt nhu cầu, giáo dục và nguồn lực của cộng đồng người Việt lên hàng đầu.
