Apparently, Ted got over the fact that Trump called his wife ugly.
John,
The Republican National Convention started yesterday in Milwaukee, where thousands of GOP activists and officials — including our part-time Senator Ted Cruz — are convening to demonstrate their loyalty to Donald Trump.

The first time his party nominated Trump in 2016, Ted held strong and refused to endorse him at the convention. But it didn’t take long for Ted to fall in line. In 2020 and now in 2024, Ted gave Trump his full-throated endorsement.
It’s quite the about-face for a politician who once called the man a narcissist and a pathological liar. And apparently, Ted got over the fact that Trump called his wife ugly, too. 🙄
Ted can excuse all that stuff (along with January 6th, the attempt to extort Ukraine into investigating Joe Biden, kids in cages, etc.) because, to him, it’s worth it to gain a president who shares his extremist agenda on abortion rights, LGBTQ+ rights, tax cuts for the rich, and more.
So John, if you want to watch Ted and his clown show of a party nominate Trump for the third time this week, feel free to tune in to the Republican National Convention.
But if you’d rather do what you can to make sure Ted gets voted out of office for good this November, pitch in $5 to Cut Cruz today and help us fund our ad campaign to mobilize voters against Ted on Election Day:
