I have some exciting news to share — our campaign has just been endorsed by Pro-Choice North Carolina!
This endorsement is deeply meaningful to me. As a dedicated advocate for reproductive rights, I believe in trusting women to make their own healthcare decisions. My role on the Council of State provides a unique perspective, and we need more representation of women of childbearing age in our government.
Reproductive health is health care. I am unwavering in my belief that a woman’s right to choose what is best for her reproductive health should remain a private decision between her and her healthcare provider, free from government interference.
The attacks on reproductive healthcare have been relentless. From the Dobbs decision to state law changes, and the opposition to IVF and medically necessary healthcare, these efforts threaten the very essence of life and family values.
In North Carolina, millions of taxpayer dollars are funneled into “crisis pregnancy centers.” It is crucial that we ensure access to reproductive healthcare that is unbiased, factual, and medically accurate.
