Representing District 6 on the Hennepin County Board has been an honor over the past 6 weeks -- I am deeply committed to advocating for the values and needs of our community and humbly ask for your support this November!
I am proud of the collaborative efforts my office has undertaken – since being sworn in, my office has meetings scheduled with all 16 mayors and city managers – and has to date met with 8 city leaders! I am committed to building strong partnerships that prioritize the needs of our residents. This teamwork is essential for creating solutions that truly resonate with our community.
I remain dedicated to key areas that our community highlighted during the special election: enhancing public safety, ensuring affordable and accessible housing, investing in our environment, partnering to improve youth programming and supporting roads and bridges while also not having property taxes price residents out of their homes. I understand these are not just policy areas; they are the pillars of a thriving and healthy community.
Now more than every, it is critical that we elect balanced, pragmatic - proven leaders that know how to get things done for our communities.
We can continue to build a safer, more vibrant, and connected district. I am committed to working tirelessly for you, and with your vote, we can achieve even greater progress for District 6. Thank you for your trust and ongoing support. Together, we can do great things!
Commissioner Anderson and I attended a Pride Celebration with Hennepin County Staff for Pride Month!
Meet the District 6 Team! Policy Aides Dan Dodge and Cole Roepke and our Summer Intern Anushka Narielwala!
It was an honor to attend the annual Hennepin County Employee Appreciation Ceremony to celebrate the work of the many staff that are improving the lives of residents everyday! Meet Barrett (the adorable therapy dog) a Hennepin County Employee that works to help Hennepin County Attorneys with the steps of their jobs but also is present for victims of violence and trauma. Quite a cute public servant!
