John,

I'm reaching out today with exciting news. Trust for Public Land
(TPL) is thrilled to announce that Dr. Carrie Besnette Hauser will be
our next President and Chief Executive Officer. She will join TPL on
October 1, 2024.

Ronda Lee Chapman, Associate Vice President and host of TPL's
People. Nature. Big Ideas. podcast, sat down with Dr. Hauser to learn
more about why she believes TPL is uniquely positioned to elevate and
expand the transformative power of the outdoors.

HEAR FROM TPL'S INCOMING CEO

[link removed]

Dr. Hauser most recently served as President and Chief Executive
Officer of Colorado Mountain College. Her wealth of experience in
public policy, philanthropy, higher education, the outdoor industry,
and community engagement makes her an ideal leader to steer TPL's
mission of connecting everyone to the benefits and joys of the
outdoors. Jeff Danter, TPL's Chief Program Officer, said it best
when he told me: "Carrie understands the profound impact that
access to nature can have on individuals and communities, and her
leadership will help us bring these benefits to even more people
across the country."

As TPL amplifies efforts to expand outdoor access through our equity,
health, climate, and community commitments, Carrie's leadership
will be critical in advancing our key initiatives.
