Friend,
On Sunday, I traveled to Warsaw to attend an event hosted by "Trump HQ."
Let me show you how it ended first.

I learned that Trump HQ was actually a shop in town, the one in the photo. I was the only candidate running as a Democrat who attended, but I wasn't the only Democrat. A few showed up on their own to support our campaign, which was really nice to see. One kid came ready with questions.
A few weeks ago, the organizers called and invited Liberty Belle and me to visit. Honestly, I was a little shocked, but I quickly said yes.
It didn't take long for Liberty Belle to bring a crowd to our table. We talked about the state of our country. We talked about the violence in our society. We talked about my plans for the Attorney General's Office, how I will enforce the Do Not Call List and make sure that every Missourian can see where their tax dollars are going. We talked about shutting down abusive puppy mills, and one family that was there helps investigate those terrible operations. We talked about the need to restart the Office's Conservation Division to protect our drinking water. We even talked about enforcing the Sunshine Law.
We had great conversations. We didn't always agree, but we agreed on a lot.
My favorite exchange of the night was a man in the crowd around us who, after listening, said, "Just please tell me you're not a RINO."
"I'm happy to say that would be impossible, sir, because I'm a Democrat."
One lady asked me if I would please switch to being a Republican. I told her that she should switch instead! Neither of us was winning on that one.
I am the only Democrat running for Attorney General, but none of the Republicans showed up. I told the folks there that regardless of party, I will always have their backs, and I will do everything I can to bring our state together, because we really do agree on so much. Some folks weren't all too happy about our state government and how our Attorney General has been flushing taxpayer money down the toilet. It's about time Missouri's government represent Missourians again. And on that, every one of us agreed.
My evening ended talking politics and eating ice cream at Trump HQ in Warsaw. We got an invitation to come back again. They even gave us the ice cream for free.
And quite a few folks left telling me, "I hope you win."
There is nothing that those who have abused their power and our country fear more than the American people overcoming our differences and getting our government working for us. Sometimes we'll leave a conversation disagreeing on an important issue, but it's the promise of a future conversation, another opportunity to learn and grow from each other, that makes our country work. Missouri can be such a great home for all of us, and that's what we're fighting for in this campaign.
I'll be back. The malt was really good.

Campaign Update
Yesterday was the fundraising reporting deadline for Missouri campaigns. The two Republicans brought in much more money than us, but with very few supporters.
Andrew Bailey had 205 donations to his campaign last quarter.
Will Scharf had 103.
We had 1,243. That's 4 times what they had combined.
Our campaign would have outraised Scharf, but he gave himself half a million dollars.
The two Republicans are also raising money through PACs, which have no contribution limits. Bailey is supported by billionaire Rex Sinquefield, who opposes our public school system, and Scharf is supported by judicial activist Leonard Leo and another out-of-state billionaire.
We're supported by you.
We aren't just sitting on your donations. That money is going straight to work, primarily paying for organizers all over the state, and to substantial outreach on social media platforms.
I know we won't have as much money as either of these guys, even though we are outraising a lot of other Republicans running for different statewide offices. But we will have a lot more people. And we're showing up in places these folks won't go.
If you can, please consider hosting an event [[link removed]] for us and introducing us to your friends. Liberty Belle is always ready to travel. We can power this campaign to do what Republicans did in 1968: Focus on the Attorney General's race and get the office working again. I need your help to get that done.

We'll see you out there!
Sincerely yours,
Elad
