I have known Denny Heck for more than 40 years. 

 

 

I served in the legislature with him. I served in Congress with him.

 

 

We have been on the same side of issues – and there is no better ally. We have been on different sides – and there is no more honorable competitor. 

 

 

Through it all we have been friends and even more so as the years have passed.  

 

 

I trust Denny. I trust our shared values are what underpin his actions. 

 

 

His commitment to growing our economy back in a fair way with shared prosperity for all is real.

 

 

His commitment to finally doing something about climate change is real. 

 

 

For these reasons and many more, I am wholeheartedly supporting Denny for Lieutenant Governor this year. 

 

 

 

 

I served in the State Senate where I chaired the Ways and Means Committee and I know what it takes to be a good President of the Senate (which is what the Lieutenant Governor is). Denny has the experience not only to be a good Lieutenant Governor, but a great one!

 

 

That’s why I am voting for Denny this year and I ask you to join me in supporting him.
