Two years ago, the first Starbucks store voted to unionize. Today, over 460 stores have voted to unionize, and we're in the midst of bargaining fair contracts that will improve the lives and working conditions of tens of thousands of workers like me.

Starbucks workers would never have gotten as far as we have without the support and solidarity of our union siblings. We're one bright spot in a movement that has seen recent victories for millions of workers in factories, delivery trucks, college campuses, hospitals, and more.

For generations, the system has been rigged against workers like us. Powerful corporations and wealthy executives have shaped the rules to pad their profits. All the while, making ends meet as a regular person gets harder and harder.

Our bargaining committee features workers from every union Starbucks location, working together as equals to get the strongest agreement we can from Starbucks. It's how we know ALL of our issues are represented and will be properly addressed in our foundational framework for contracts nationwide. Every worker should have a voice on the job, especially when it comes to issues like pay, hours, fair treatment, benefits, and working conditions.
