Every election matters. But the 2020 election might be the most important one of our lifetimes. We need to elect Democratic leaders who will get us back on the path to progress and take action on the pressing issues we face as a country.

I’m not just talking about the White House — flipping the Senate in 2020 will also be critical. And that means electing Cal Cunningham in North Carolina. Will you pitch in to support Cal now?

Without Cal winning in November, we may lose our chance to take the Senate back from Mitch McConnell. That would mean at least two more years of stalled legislation and obstruction. We can’t afford to let that happen.

Cal would be a great addition to the Senate. He's an Army veteran with a strong record of public service. In the North Carolina legislature, he fought for students and teachers and led on environmental protection and campaign finance reform.

I’m looking forward to working with him in the Senate to get things done. But first, he has to win this seat. Will you pitch in to help him do it?
