From the bottom of my heart, John, THANK YOU!

Because of this incredible grassroots team, your tremendous support, and NYC’s strong campaign finance matching program, we have raised over $3 million for next year’s election, as of the NYC Campaign Finance Board deadline last week.

This support comes from over 2,500 donors like you — none of whom are corporate lobbyists, fossil fuel executives, or private equity and investment fund managers. Together, we are building a powerful grassroots movement in New York City.

This support will give us the resources we need to communicate with voters about how strong, experienced leadership can deliver real improvements in New Yorkers’ lives.

I also want to extend another huge thank you to those of you who were able to attend my 55th birthday celebration in Gowanus last week!

It was delightful to be surrounded by so many friends and neighbors who are all-in to get organized together as we head into the tough election season this fall. In challenging times like this – with our democracy on the line, and the need to organize peacefully and passionately so very clear – I couldn’t have asked for a better way to ring in my “double nickels” year.

And I loved it when my friends Rep. Pat Ryan (running for reelection in the Hudson Valley) and Sue Altman (who’s running for Congress in New Jersey) joined the party via FaceTime. They are the kinds of Democrats we need to help win if we’re going to take back the House. And they’re the kinds of Democrats who point the way to a better future for our families and our country.

John, with you and this grassroots team on my side, I know we have what it takes to govern our city in a way that is consistent with our values. We’re in this fight together to make our city safer, our neighborhoods more livable and affordable, our government more effective, and our future more sustainable.

I’m humbled and energized by the grassroots support for our record of results and positive vision for the city I love so much.

Thank you for everything you do, and for your generous support.

More soon,

Brad
