Today is the FIRST day of the Republican National Convention – J.D. Vance was just announced as VP, and in 3 days Donald Trump will officially secure the GOP nomination for President!

Team, here’s a preview of the GOP’s extremist platform that’s taking center stage for the next week:

• 🏥 Abortion: Donald Trump bragged about ending Roe v. Wade and North Carolina gubernatorial nominee Mark Robinson wants to ban it completely with no exceptions for rape, incest, or even the life of the mother.
• 🗳️ Voting Rights: Trump is already refusing to accept the results of the 2024 election, and GOP governors have limited voting rights.
• 💰 Social Security and Medicare: While in office, Trump proposed cuts to Social Security and Medicare EVERY SINGLE YEAR.
• 🏳️‍🌈 LGBTQ+ rights: Republicans nationwide are trying to pass a record number of anti-LGBTQ+ bills (over 500!).

Team, we can’t afford to let candidates with these harmful views get elected. That’s why it’s never been more important to elect Democratic governors who will stand strong against the GOP. But poll after poll show that these races are too close to call!
