In the immediate aftermath of Trump's assassination attempt, leaders from both parties quickly sent their prayers and called for calm. Most elected Democrat leaders were swift and unequivocal in denouncing this political crime, recognizing the broader implications for nation's stability and unity.

However, the reaction from some members of the far-left faction, notably Squad members like Ilhan Omar and Cori Bush, was nothing short of infuriating. Their response was a glaring display of immaturity and political pettiness—an embarrassment to the state of Minnesota and our country.

At a time when the nation needs to come together, they failed even to mention the former president by name or extend any good wishes.

This was not just an oversight; it was a deliberate snub that highlighted a disturbing level of partisanship, hatred, and insensitivity.

Their refusal to acknowledge the severity of the incident, to label it as a tragedy, is a slap in the face to every American who believes in democracy.

👉 A tragedy is when a hurricane hits, a tornado strikes, or a volcano erupts—but what happened was a premeditated attempted assassination and a direct attack on the fabric of our nation.

By downplaying the significance of this event, Ilhan Omar and Cori Bush not only disrespected the office of the presidency but also trivialized the real and present danger of political violence.

To put it simply, WE DESERVE BETTER.
