The events of this past weekend have deeply impacted our nation, state, and this race.

Let me be clear: political violence is unacceptable and has no place in our country. It goes against the very principles of democracy that we are fighting to uphold.

Our nation must resolve policy disagreements at the ballot box, not through acts of violence or intimidation.

As we move forward with this race, I will continue to make clear and distinct contrasts with my opponent based on the facts. It is crucial for the electorate to understand the differences in our visions, policies, and approaches.
