Violence has no place in our country and I condemn what happened to President Trump this past Saturday unequivocally. I am praying for his safety and a full recovery. 

I’m also grateful for law enforcement who acted so swiftly to protect those in Butler. My thoughts are with the grieving families and I’m wishing a swift recovery to those who were injured. 

In dark moments like these, may we all continue to take care of one another.
