We are grateful that President Trump is safe following the assassination attempt on his life.

Sadly, anti-gunners immediately pounced on the horrific moment by calling for a BAN on so-called “assault weapons.”

Just hours after President Trump drew blood, anti-gun lobbyists even raised money off of the failed assassination in order to move forward with a ban on “AR-style rifles.”

During these tumultuous times in our country, GOA is asking all of our members to stop Congress from caving to the anti-gun lobby’s pressure to ban “assault weapons.”

Please add your name to our pre-written letter telling your Representative and two Senators to oppose ANY and ALL gun control – especially as the anti-gun lobby attempts to ban so-called “assault weapons.”

President Trump ultimately had his life saved by a sniper who put a bullet in the deranged shooter.

It’s a tale as old as time.

We can never legislate away evil, but we can ensure that good men and women have the RIGHT to protect themselves in the face of evil.

But anti-gunners now want to take away YOUR right to keep and bear arms.

And we all know that this latest gun control push will not end with “assault weapons.”

In fact, the anti-gun group Brady finally let the TRUTH slip in their released statement on the assassination attempt on President Trump’s life… They said, “Guns have no place in our democracy.”

You read that right… simply “guns.”

As you and I both know, the right to keep and bear arms is the backbone of our Republic. Guns must hold a central place in any democracy.

Without the Second Amendment, all of our rights are at the mercy of a tyrannical out-of-control government.

That’s why it’s critical that we stop the anti-gunners from using the assassination attempt on President Trump’s life to push for gun control.
