Hi Friend,

Several things have occurred over the last few days that lead to the following all being true at the same time — and the stakes couldn't be higher:

1) Political violence must be condemned in all its forms, whether that's violence directed at a candidate or attempts to violently overthrow our government.

2) We have a dangerous person now nominated as Trump's Vice Presidential pick. JD. Vance has said he doesn't care what happens in Ukraine and believes Trump should fire every civil servant and replace them with Trump loyalists.

3) Parts of our Judicial Branch are no longer independent, thanks to the Supreme Court decision on presidential immunity and Judge Cannon's dismissal of the classified documents case.

4) Trump and his minions are still a threat to democracy. This language is not inciting violence but, instead, is simply the truth.  

If we're going to ensure the continuation of our democracy, we MUST make sure Democrats retake the House of Representatives.

And this is why my race is key:

1) It is one of the few congressional seats that is actually flippable, and MAGA GOP extremist David Schweikert won this seat by only 3,000 votes in 2022.

2) It is considered a "toss-up" race by every political handicapper.

3) Schweikert's 11 ethics violations and extreme voting record make him extremely vulnerable. 

This is not the time to sit on the sidelines hoping, somehow, that our worst fears won't be realized. Instead, we must stand up against those who want to end the American experiment, and I need your help in this endeavor. If you were ever going to give to help me unseat my MAGA opponent, NOW is the time. Democracy can't wait.
