@NorahODonnell: The January 6th committee shows a draft executive order from Dec. 2020 that would direct the Secretary of Defense to seize voting machines immediately. [[link removed]]
The January 6th committee showed evidence in a hearing that President Trump was going to order the Department of Defense to seize voting machines around the country to search for evidence of wrongdoing.
While the order was never given, this highlights the lengths some people were willing to go to justify their fantasies about elections they see as "stolen".
John : We're looking to hear from voters in your area about your thoughts on this. Will you take our one-question poll right away?
Should the President have the power to order the military to seize voting machines without proof of wrongdoing?

Integrity First Voter Action Project is dedicated to expanding ballot access and increasing voter participation across the country.
Since the Supreme Court gutted key provisions in the Voting Rights Act, extreme politicians have taken advantage to pass harsh laws that restrict access to the ballot box. These restrictions particularly affect disadvantaged communities and people of color. It’s our goal to bring awareness to these laws wherever they may crop up and organize voters to take action to ensure the right to vote is available to everyone in their states and communities.
