In this race specifically, we’re in a dead heat. After Senator Sinema decided not to run for re-election, it came down to just Kari Lake and me. Of all the data my campaign has and all the publicly available polls and race ratings out there, Arizona is one of, if not the closest Senate race in the country.

John,

Today, our mid-month fundraising drive ends and the Republican National Convention begins.

And if you give me a chance, I’d like to explain why a donation to my campaign for U.S. Senate at this exact moment is so incredibly important to what all of us need to accomplish together this November.

You’ve been around long enough to know that Arizona is just about the most purple state in the entire country. It is the swing state of all swing states.

This state is everyone’s top priority because the GOP knows they can’t take back the White House if they do not win here. They know that they won’t have a friendly Senate if they don’t beat me. And they know that control of the House is going to come down to a few toss-up seats — right here in Arizona.

If we win here, we’re in good shape. If we lose, we’re in big trouble.

And in this race specifically, we’re in a dead heat. After Senator Sinema decided not to run for re-election, it came down to just Kari Lake and me. Of all the data my campaign has and all the publicly available polls and race ratings out there, Arizona is one of, if not the closest Senate race in the country.

We’ve got one big thing going for us, though. Month after month, we have crushed Kari Lake’s fundraising numbers. That means we can run more advertising, in more places, to more swing voters, for longer periods of time. The people we need to turn out hear from me, not her.

That could change, though. And fast. Because starting today, all eyes are on the Republican National Convention. And later this week, Kari has a prime-time speaking role. One of the most prominent of the whole thing. It’s the biggest platform she has ever had — and it’s her biggest opportunity yet to spike her fundraising from the millions of MAGA faithful who are going to be watching.

If that happens, if she raises the millions she needs, all bets are off. Seriously. If she gets the edge on us in fundraising, we could lose this thing. And that’s why what we do over the next few hours, before our mid-month fundraising deadline, before the RNC kicks off, matters so much.

That’s why I’m writing you, and that’s why I’m asking as respectfully as I can:

Can you add your $5 donation to my campaign for U.S. Senate today, before this fundraising drive ends? I tried to make the case as best as I can, and I hope I can count on you right now.

If you've stored your info with ActBlue, we'll process your contribution instantly.

Thanks, John.

And Semper Fi,

Ruben
