The Kansas Commission on Disability Concerns' (KCDC) new website will launch on Thursday, July 18. It has a new look, but the blue ribbon across the upper part of the screen still has the menu for navigating the site.

You will notice that ADA Information is now on this main menu.  The listings of the ADA Coordinators in state government agencies, cities and counties are located in this area. By hovering your cursor over the words on the ribbon a menu drops down with the information under each section.  The Disability Service Maps are under Resources.

If you cannot find what you are looking for, there is a search box in the upper right-hand corner of your screen.

Below the picture of sunflowers are quick links to Legislative Information, Social Security, Assistive Technology, List Serve Subscriptions and Voter Registration.

Please look around the site for information you use regularly. If you find any links no longer working for information you used to find, please let me know so I can help.

The ADA National Network is made up of 12 ADA Centers that provide information about the rights of people with disabilities, the responsibilities of employers and state and local governments, and the accessibility requirements under the ADA Accessibility Guidelines.  All 12 give you the same information and each has a monthly newsletter with current information. If you'd like to receive ADA information, you might subscribe to one or more of them. The ADA National Network website [ [link removed] ] can tell you more and connect you to each ADA Center.

The Great Plains ADA Center in Columbia, Missouri, serves Kansas, Missouri, Iowa and Nebraska.  Feel free to contact them with your questions about the ADA.

The Great Plains ADA Report is now available on their website [ [link removed] ].
