Hi there, The heat aside, the DMV is so glorious in the summer. I've always loved how everything slows down a little bit in July and August. Walking around, you can feel (and sometimes see) that the city is on vacation; and for those of us that stick around, we get the magic of DC summer nights all to ourselves. GGWash will be taking a break from regularly scheduled events this August. But just because we're taking it easy doesn't mean there's not still a lot going on. There are still a few hours left to submit your thoughts on WMATA's bus network redesign and we're hosting a planners of color happy hour on Wednesday. Join us! |

This summer, Greater Greater Washington is making space for planners, advocates, and other community leaders of color to meet and connect. We'll be hosting a "planners of color" meet-up on July 17 from 6:00 - 8:00pm at Shanklin Hall (NOT Franklin Hall), a Black-owned gathering space on 18th Street. |
