FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Road Work to Start on Old Highway 99 N July 16th through July 30th

 

Starting July 16th, contractors will be grinding and paving Old Highway 99 N between Dahlstedt Road and the Samish River Bridge. Work hours are from 9:00am to 9:00pm on weekdays with no weekend work anticipated. This project is expected to be complete in ten working days on July 30th. 

Advance warning signs will be posted to alert motorists of the pavement work. Lane closures are anticipated during construction and there will be traffic delays. Temporary traffic control will include the use of a pilot car, flaggers, small barricades, and orange traffic cones.

Please drive carefully and follow posted traffic signs to keep workers safe.
