Friend,
Some in my own party have referred to me as an “isolationist.” Some have said I will never approve of going to war, even if it means fighting for our values abroad. I’ve said since I began public life that I look at the world, and consider war, realistically and constitutionally.
I still see war as the last resort. But I agree with Reagan’s idea that no country should mistake U.S. reluctance for war for a lack of resolve.
Friend, my opposition to funding the never-ending war in Ukraine stems from two concerns:
1. How does America benefit? We get nothing out of sending billions and billions of dollars on a conflict that doesn’t involve us.
2. Our national debt. We’re spending $1.5 trillion every three months – and we’re literally borrowing money from China to send overseas to Ukraine when we can’t even afford our own bills.
Americans are tired of Washington elites spending their hard-earned money on never-ending wars that bring us closer to the brink of WWIII while bankrupting our nation. I AGREE >>
Friend, I’ve always been outspoken about the need to put our interests first. It may not be the popular position to take, but I stand by what I’ve said – now I’m asking you to stand with me.
Chip in $10, $15, $20, or match our average donation of $31.98 to help me reach my $10,000 mid-month fundraising goal and join me in this fight.
