John,
If you only have 30 seconds to spare, read this:
The clean energy boom is here! Over 312,900 clean energy jobs have been created or announced since the passage of the largest climate bill in history, the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). This climate funding is not just saving the environment, it’s saving our economy.
Ironically, the biggest winners in the green industry are areas controlled by its biggest opponents. We need those legislators to recognize the economic benefits created by these investments so they can help attract clean energy companies to their districts. Join us in urging Congress to take advantage of this economic opportunity to create local, good-paying climate careers. Together, we can turn skeptics into supporters and bring lasting prosperity to our communities!

If you have two minutes to spare, read this:
Guess who the big victors in clean energy manufacturing are? Surprisingly, it's Republican-led districts. Nearly 78% of the $365 billion in climate investments are going to rural regions, small towns, and red states led by those who have historically opposed climate mitigation.
Why? Well, these areas offer what big infrastructure projects need: large areas of available land for industrial facilities, pro-business policies, and enticing tax incentives. It’s a magnet for companies and jobs — electricians, mechanics, construction workers, technicians, and more!
And guess what? As profits start rolling in, even the most skeptical legislators are changing their tune. “We’re excited to have jobs,” states Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, a Republican and climate skeptic in Georgia, the state that has seen the greatest benefit from the IRA in the country — over 30,000 jobs and $23 billion in local investments. Many politicians like Greene are working closely with clean energy companies to ensure these new factories stick around to offer long-term prosperity to their districts. It only makes economic sense for Congress to promote domestic industry — even if it’s renewables.
Tell Congress: Boost Our Local Economy!
The market is choosing green energy! We need our legislators to side with clean technology to keep the jobs coming. Join us in pushing Congress to facilitate the boom in local clean energy deployment!
In solidarity,
