Animals in Labs Need You Right Now! ([link removed])

Friend,

Just one action right now can help millions of animals suffering in laboratories. Right now, sweet dogs, gentle rabbits and intelligent monkeys are enduring unimaginable suffering in painful experiments across the country. All because the U.S. Food and Drug Administration continues to use flawed and outdated drug approval policies.

This is your chance, Friend, to tell the FDA to help end animal testing for good—add your name to the petition now! ([link removed])

Animals used in experiments spend their lives in barren laboratories, subjected to stressful and inhumane procedures. They’re force-fed or injected with potentially poisonous substances and must endure painful side effects like fevers, tremors and rapid heart rates. Many don’t survive the tests. And those who do are killed anyway.

But there’s hope. You can help save countless animals from this suffering. Join us by adding your name to our petition urging the FDA to take concrete steps to end animal testing.

Some argue that animal testing is a necessary evil to advance medical science. However, the facts speak for themselves: Nearly 90% of drugs that pass animal trials FAIL in human trials!

Alternative non-animal test methods are available and are often more effective than animal testing. That’s why we have officially petitioned the FDA to clearly state that animal testing isn't legally required in the drug approval process and to encourage companies to replace animal tests with non-animal methods whenever possible.

We’re counting on people like you, who care about protecting vulnerable animals, to put pressure on the FDA to fix their outdated drug approval process and take steps to end animal testing for good.

If we have any hope of replacing animal tests with more effective alternatives, we have to stand together. Add your name to the petition to demand that the FDA makes it clear animal testing is NOT required in the drug approval process and commit to encouraging companies to use more accurate, non-animal testing methods now.
