Friend of Trust for Public Land,

The Great Bend of the Gila, with its flowing Gila River, rugged
mountain peaks, and ancient geoglyphs, is an irreplaceable gem in
southwestern Arizona. This extraordinary landscape deserves our
protection, and with your help, we can make it happen.

This Monument Monday, we're calling on President Biden to designate
the Great Bend of the Gila as a national monument. By signing our
petition, you can help push for the preservation of this remarkable
cultural and historical site now and for future generations.

Designating the Great Bend of the Gila as a national monument will
protect over 80,000 acres of land sacred to several Arizona-based
tribes. It will also safeguard the ancient rock art and geoglyphs that
grace the river, cliffs, and valley floor from looting and vandalism.

Many iconic public lands, including the Grand Canyon and Arches
National Parks, were first protected through the Antiquities Act.
Adding your voice can help secure a legacy for the Great Bend of the
Gila.

Send your message to President Biden today and help preserve this rich
landscape for generations to come.
