In a televised address from the Oval Office, President Joe Biden on Sunday called on Americans to "cool it down" a day after an attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania. Biden stressed that the country should "resolve our differences at the ballot box" and not with bullets.
