Akron, OH - Tom Zawistowski, President of the TEA Party affiliated We the People Convention, tonight is calling for ALL media outlets to immediately stop the use of incendiary language that was responsible for the assassination attempt on President Trump on Saturday. Zawistowski said, "This irresponsible mis-use of language is unnecessarily ginning up irrational emotions among citizens on both sides of the political divide and stopping us from having a real debate on the issues that separate the candidate. To suggest the Trump "will like Hitler" or that he "is a threat to Democracy" or that he intends to be a "Dictator" who does not follow the law is factually wrong and simply hateful. The hate must stop now! This is the politics of personal destruction on steroids and it is totally unacceptable and inappropriate in political discourse. Everyone who ever made these horrific inaccurate claims against Trump and against his supporters should apologize publicly. The American people deserve better from a "free press" and we are now demanding that it stop - NOW!"
