It's time to end division.

For 35 months, I've been positively campaigning and engaging in a new dialogue with our rural neighbors. Now, more than ever, we need a uniter in our district, and I'm ready and honored to lead that charge.

We deserve leadership that fiercely advocates for true progress, someone committed to ending the divide.

To get to Congress and bring experience, dignity, and integrity back to this seat, I need your help hitting our mid-month goal of airing our latest ad ahead of the primary election on Tuesday, Aug. 6.

As a resident here for over 35 years, I have dedicated my life to public service as a doctor, diplomat, public health professional, social worker, and educator. 

We have campaigned hard since August 2021 and made huge strides, but our work is unfinished. We cannot afford to abandon momentum.

I have fundamental policy differences with my opponents, but we are competitors, not enemies.

The fact remains that Michigan's first district has been underserved for far too long. Rep. Bergman has never faced a second-time challenger, and we have the best opportunity to defeat him democratically and finally bring about meaningful change.

Together, united, we can expel extremism, hatred, and violence and make our district stronger, kinder, and more prosperous.
