We're putting our lives on the line to go to work for minimum wage because we don't have a choice. I don't have the option of not feeding my son or paying my rent.

But when I show up for work, I'm not guaranteed a mask to protect myself and our customers. I CAN'T catch coronavirus and bring it home to my son.

Workers across the country have gone on strike because this is life or death.

Congress is deciding right now what the next coronavirus relief bill will look like. Will it be a corporate bailout that exploits those of us who are keeping this country running? Or will it center people like you and me?

Corporations like McDonald's are prioritizing profit and relying on OUR labor to make THEIR money with hardly any protections at all.

We NEED masks, gloves, and free testing. We NEED money for rent, food, and healthcare. We NEED paid sick leave NOW.

Last time, Congress made sure to bail out the banks, but “essential workers” like us were largely left behind. One $1,200 check is nowhere near enough. We need a long-term solution to this crisis, and that's only going to come if we DEMAND our lawmakers give us one.
