Last month, the Supreme Court struck down a ban on deadly bump stocks. Tell Congress they must act.
In June, the U.S. Supreme Court struck down a federal regulation banning gun bump stocks, which enable rapid firing and can turn semi-automatic weapons into automatic ones.
This firearm accessory is what was used in the 2017 Las Vegas mass shooting when 60 people were killed and 413 more were wounded.
Bump stocks are still illegal here in California, but that’s no longer the case in many states across the country.
In light of this ruling, will you add your name right now to tell Congress that they must take action and ban bump stocks nationwide?

In California, I’m doing everything I can to stop the gun violence epidemic. That includes enforcing our own bump stock ban, which stops these dangerous modified weapons from appearing on our streets. But we need to make sure we have these same protections on the national level, and for that, we need your help.
There’s no doubt about it: this decision is dangerous. But the good news is that Congress has the power to enforce a new ban — one that would stand despite the Supreme Court’s ruling.
To make sure that happens, we need to show broad public support for a national prohibition on these deadly devices. Will you add your name right now to tell Congress to outlaw bump stocks at the federal level ASAP?
Thank you for lending your voice to this critical cause.
In solidarity,
Rob
