• DEI flag mural between Allen and King needs to go. Write letters to remove. Report on City Council Meeting. Who was there and moving forward.

• Zoning: Meeting on Friday, 7/19 at 2PM. 715 Greenville Highway Apartments Neighborhood Compatibility Meeting. 2PM - 3:30PM. The City of Hendersonville is in receipt of an application for a Conditional Zoning District from Travis Fowler of First Victory Inc., applicant and Richard Herman of South Market LLC, property owner.  The applicant is requesting to rezone the subject property. Planning our strategy to stop this!

   

• Only Citizens Vote: Great news! The Federal Law SAVE Act passed the House to plug the holes in the Federal laws to assure proof of citizenship - Help America Vote Act (HAVA) and The Uniformed Overseas Citizens Authorized Voting Act (UOCAVA) . Action Alert: It's off to the Senate and it needs our help.

• NC General Assembly passed S630 Only Citizens Vote amendment to stop non-citizens from voting.to appear on your ballot in November. OUR JOB: Get the message out to each county community: Only Citizens Vote. Come to plan our county strategy. NCEIT has worked tirelessly to make this happen. We are just getting started on this one.

•Only Citizens Vote Coalition: Take the Only Citizen Vote Pledge/Contact Legislators to Support Only Citizens Vote and the SAVE Act:  https://www.onlycitizensvotecoalition.com/

• NCEIT Poll Observer Training: On-Line starting this Wednesday, 7/17 11AM - 1PM and Thursday, 7/18 from 7PM - 9PM. Separate email with links and phone numbers to come this week.
