Project 2025 is the game plan for Trump and a MAGA controlled Congress to destroy the federal government if they win in November.

It's a dangerous set of policies that allow Trump, Speaker Mike Johnson, and MAGA Republicans to consolidate power, silence anyone who challenges them, and eliminate laws that keep us safe. We must get the word out about what is at stake.

If Trump wins and Republicans control Congress, here are just a few things they plan to do:

- Fire thousands of government employees and install Trump loyalists
- Dismantle the Department of Education, turn federal education funding into religious school vouchers, and end civil rights protections
- Eliminate the National Weather Service
- Ban abortion and instruct the FDA to reverse its approval of life-saving drugs like mifepristone and emergency contraception
- End carbon emissions rules and give free reign to big polluters from the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries
- Abolish same-sex marriage and other LGBTQI+ rights
- Privatize Medicare
- And begin mass deportations of millions of people

Speaker Johnson was one of the key players in the attempt to overturn the 2020 election – and he will do everything in his power to turn Trump's extremist wish list into law.

Project 2025 will essentially make our country an autocratic regime at odds with everything the United States embodies – freedom, opportunity, and democracy. It is an outright power grab intent on destroying the separation of powers and undermining checks and balances in government.

How can we stop Trump's Project 2025 and promote a progressive agenda? We must unite around Democrats, work to take back the House majority, protect the Senate, and win the Presidency.

If Democrats win in November, we'll be voting for tax fairness, voting rights, reproductive rights, full funding for public education, a clean energy economy, and more.
