New: Our COVID-19 Relief and Resilience Plan
One of the biggest challenges we face today as a global community is
uncertainty: How long will the COVID-19 crisis last, and how will we
recover? At Rise AgainstHunger, we've also asked how we'll continue to
reach 1.4 million beneficiaries worldwide while our volunteer events are
on hold and our meal inventory is rapidly shrinking. In response, we are

"Rice Goes First": Our Partnerships to Distribute Rice Around The World
You may have heard our Rise Against Hunger staff say, "Rice Goes Last"
at meal packaging events — but when it came to supporting our local
communities in the midst of the health crisis, rice came first! In
response to the COVID-19 outbreak, we have postponed all meal packaging
events, and our organization now has an abundance of previously
purchased rice in our warehouses that can be utilized. Through
collaboration with our partners, we are distributing rice to local food
banks and humanitarian partners across the country. Check out a few

Shipment of Medical Aid and Nutritious Meals Planned for Liberia and
Sierra Leone
In this challenging time, Rise Against Hunger is still working day in
and day out with our global network of partners and supporters to meet
the needs of those we serve. In partnership with MAP International, Rise
Against Hunger is shipping nearly $20 million of nutritious meals and
medical aid to in-country partners in Liberia and Sierra Leone to combat
