I've been crunching the numbers all morning, and right now, we're still $39,731 away from reaching our $65,000 daily fundraising goal. We need an immediate surge in grassroots support to get back on track: Will you chip in $5 or more so we can reach our goal, win in Texas, and defeat Ted Cruz?

As Colin's finance director, it's my job to ensure that this campaign has the resources we need to reach voters across Texas and win. And I've got to be honest with you – we're not where we need to be this close to our deadline.

Republican mega donors are pouring millions into Ted Cruz's campaign, and a GOP super PAC pledged to spend $10 MILLION to help him win. They've already gone live with their first attacks, and if we don't have the resources to fight back, they'll completely drown us out.

If we don't pick up our fundraising pace ASAP, we risk not having the resources it takes to win an expensive race like this – and that could be the difference between firing Ted Cruz or not.

So please, I'm humbly asking: Will you make your first gift of $5, $25, or more to hit our critical daily fundraising goal? Every dollar gets us closer to defeating Ted Cruz and bringing real leadership to Texas.
