Turns out, the vast majority of Americans hate the idea of having their rights taken away. 

While most of MAGA is continuing to go after abortion, birth control, and even IVF, it’s pretty clear that someone in MAGAland finally read a poll. 

It’s not a total flip-flop, but here and there, a few Republicans are trying to muddy the waters and even distance themselves from positions we all know they will be in lockstep supporting Trump on. It’s like they don’t want to get smoked in November…

It’s hard to believe that the same people who hang out outside of clinics shaming women getting a medical procedure are all of a sudden going to change their tune. Because they won’t. No matter what they say. Believe what they do. Not the lies to try to win votes.

They’re just doing what they think they have to do to win in November. And to do it, they’re using an old MAGA trick: Lying.

Those voters they are trying so hard to win? They’re the ones that are going to decide this election. Women in conservative households who are concerned about their rights being taken away. Parents. Dads with daughters. These are some of our must-win voters that we’re sending ads to every day at The Lincoln Project. It’s why we’re heavily invested in Arizona and Wisconsin already – talking to these exact groups with the ad that’s been off-the-charts good.
