I am so proud to share that I have officially been endorsed by both the United Auto Workers (UAW) Region 2B and the AFL-CIO.
Indiana is undeniably at it's best when we have a strong middle class. 2023 was a historic year for labor across the nation. From auto-workers to movie stars, industries banded together to make this simple request: fair treatment from their employers.
I proudly stood beside the hard working men and women of UAW Region 2B this fall in Kokomo as they took part in the nation-wide strike that resulted in a monumental victory. As we face an era of economic inequality, it has never been more important to protect the ability for the working class to stand up for itself.
Year after year, Republicans in the legislature attempt to pass union-busting policies to roll back collective bargaining rights across industries from doctors to teachers. I have staunchly fought against these dangerous proposals at every turn, and I have no doubt there will be more anti-working class efforts in the coming session.
