MESSAGE FROM CATHERINE

Dear John,

Whether you have been working from home, helping your children with their studies, or stepping up and continuing to provide essential services to our neighbors, these past few weeks have not been easy. 

As we pass one month of sheltering in place, it is important to take stock and reflect on the road ahead. That’s why this Thursday, April 23 at 4:00 pm, I will be hosting a virtual town hall to answer your questions about the City’s responses to the pandemic, what each of us can do as individuals, and more.

I want to extend special thanks to everyone in our community for coming together and doing everything possible to stop the spread of COVID-19. Together, we have secured hundreds of thousands of units of personal protective equipment for our frontline healthcare workers, called attention to the mental health impacts of this crisis, and reached out to thousands of our most vulnerable residents to offer resources and assistance. 

The dedication to public health and safety that our neighbors have shown has been astounding, and I am more confident than ever that we will get through this together. Thank you again, and I hope you will join us on Thursday.
