Keeping Granite State Families and Communities Safe

Hello Friends,

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend! As your representative, my number one priority is the safety and well-being of Granite Staters and their families.

Congress must pass public safety legislation that improves both accountability and prevention.

As Chair of the New Democrat Coalition, I was proud to endorse 15 public safety bills to make America safer this week. The majority of these bills have broad, bipartisan support – and my coalition is working to advance policies that reflect a pragmatic, commonsense approach to policing and public safety.

From increasing resources for law enforcement agencies to improving community violence prevention initiatives and getting illicit drugs out of our communities, these bills will build upon my coalition’s vision for a safer America by enhancing three key aspects of public safety: law enforcement support, community safety, and commonsense gun violence prevention.

Supporting American Businesses and Clean Manufacturing

This legislation will boost American businesses and promote fair global competition.

The United States leads our global competitors in clean manufacturing, which not only supports American businesses and our economy but also helps protect our environment and mitigate the worst impacts of climate change.

This week, I was incredibly proud to help introduce bipartisan legislation to study emissions of American-made products compared to international products to ensure fair competition on the global stage. I look forward to seeing the impact this legislation will have on supporting American businesses on the global stage, improving our trade relationships with allies, and investing in a clean energy future.

Investing in New Hampshire's Public Transportation

These resources will help keep our communities healthy and offset some of the worst impacts of climate change.

Also this week, I was proud to join the rest of the federal delegation in welcoming significant funding for Manchester and Durham to expand their transportation infrastructure and replace diesel-powered buses with modern, energy-efficient models.

These resources were made available through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, and I look forward to seeing the positive impact these investments will have on keeping our communities connected and helping Granite Staters get where they need to go.
