Fellow Conservative,
On Thursday, the House took an important step toward improving election integrity throughout the nation by passing the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act (H.R. 8281). It’s now up to the Senate to take the next step and support this common sense bill.
American Elections for American Citizens
The Problem
Many states have done great work to strengthen election operations and have restored integrity for voters casting their ballots. But there is still more work to do. While voting as a non-citizen is universally illegal, enforcement mechanisms are not universally implemented.
States can legally give noncitizens IDs such as driver licenses which are then accepted as proof of citizenship. Further, interpretations of the National Voter Registration Act (NVRA) have even been exploited to prevent states from requiring proof of citizenship to vote.
This makes it impossible to ensure only U.S. citizens are voting in our elections.
The Solution
Representative Chip Roy’s (R-Texas) SAVE Act <[link removed]> very simply amends the NVRA to
require proof of citizenship before allowing individuals to register to vote in federal elections.
This is beyond common sense, and it is why it passed the House of Representatives earlier this week.
In spite of how clear this is to us and the majority of Americans, 198 Democrats voted against the SAVE Act and in favor of non-citizens participating in U.S. elections.
But this did not stop the House from doing its job to defend the interests of Americans. They have sent the SAVE Act to the Senate who must now do the right thing and support this bill.

Standing up for the Truth
The Biden administration’s war against reality is showcased in its rewriting of Title IX, which rewrites the definition of “sex” from male and female to include arbitrary terms such as “gender identity,” “sexual orientation,” “sex stereotypes,” “sex-related characteristics,” etc…
This means that schools across the country would not be able to maintain male and female only spaces. Preventing a man from joining a female sports team, for example, would be considered discrimination and that school would lose taxpayer funding.
Thankfully, Representative Mary Miller (R-Ill.) introduced legislation (H.J. Res. 165) to repeal this rule change through the Congressional Review Act. Again, the House did the right thing and voted to pass this bill
But that’s not the only win.
Throughout the Department of Education's attempt to redefine “sex” you have kept engaged by submitting tens of thousands of comments in opposition to the regulation. Over the past nine months, these comments have delayed the Biden agenda.
Part of the Title IX redefinition of sex was originally going to be implemented in April of 2023. But citing the overwhelming amount of comments received, the Department of Education (DoE) has delayed the change multiple times.
Just last Friday, the DoE announced that a separate portion of its Title IX rewrite would be delayed again <[link removed]>, this time indefinitely. We are hopeful that this means the agency will not be able to implement the rule before the end of the year, if at all.
Again, a major reason for this delay is the flood of comments that the Department received from many of you who submitted a public comment pushing back against Biden’s Title IX rewrite. Your effort has won battle after battle.
While we must continue to fight, the conservative movement has gained the advantage in protecting female athletics from the Biden administration’s radical agenda to redefine sex.
In Case You Missed It
Congress isn’t the only political body that can take action to improve election integrity. States have wide authority to do the same and this week Idaho did just that.
On Tuesday, Governor Brad Little signed an Executive Order 2024-07 (Only Citizens Will Vote Act) to strengthen the process to validate voter registration and prevent noncitizens from registering to vote.
Idaho is one of the first states in the nation to take executive action to bar illegal aliens and other non-citizens from voting. We look forward to working with more states in the future to take similar action in protecting the integrity of their elections.

None of these accomplishments would be possible without the energy and dedication of grassroots conservatives like you. Thank you for all the work that you do for the good of the country.
