John — two years
ago, Ilhan Omar won her primary race, successfully fending off a centrist
challenger.

A month from today, she is going to face the same opponent. Last time,
this was a close race. She won — but only by two percent. This year, with
AIPAC and its right-wing megadonor backers spending millions to unseat
progressive leaders like Ilhan, it could be even closer.

We’ve already lost one critical voice for peace in Congress this year. We
have one month left to make sure that we don’t lose another.

Throughout her time in Congress, Ilhan has faced racist, sexist, and
Islamophobic attacks. And in the wake of her brave advocacy for a
ceasefire in Gaza, those attacks have only gotten worse. House Republicans
have even attempted to censure her for opposing genocide.

But these attacks have never stopped her. That’s the kind of courageous
leader Ilhan is, and it’s why we can’t afford to lose her voice in
Congress. So one month out, we’re making sure that she has the resources
to defeat her centrist challenger — again.
