Father-daughter pair Tim Reese and Sylvie Hooker Reese (18) from Minnetrista are embarking on an epic 182.4-mile paddle across the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness on July 30 to increase awareness and support for Save the Boundary Waters in their effort to prevent copper mining from occurring the watershed. Applications are now open for our November Kids for the Boundary Waters D.C. fly-in! Since 2018, Kids for the Boundary Waters have been conducting Washington D.C. fly-in trips and have been a vital part of winning protections for the Boundary Waters through their advocacy.
