Dear John,
Thanks to CAFOD supporters across the country, hundreds of MPs have arrived in Westminster having heard our call to act on poverty and stand in solidarity with our global family.
As they now take their seats as MPs, we need to keep up that call. Let’s urge them to play their part in tackling the climate, debt and hunger crises and turning the tide on global poverty.

People across the world are facing growing levels of poverty and hunger. Dozens of low-income countries are being hit by a new debt crisis, while climate disasters and humanitarian emergencies are destroying lives and livelihoods.
But the MPs who’ve been sworn in this week have the power to push for policies to change this. They can act to stand in solidarity with marginalised communities around the world.
Let’s call on MPs in the new Parliament to take urgent action to speed up emissions cuts, fight hunger and end the debt crisis as we approach the start of the Church's Jubilee year.
