John — I just checked in on our July fundraising numbers with my team, and they asked me to reach out to our strongest supporters for help. You see, we’re nearly halfway through the month, but we’re not as close to the halfway mark of our July goal as we should be by now… By making your first contribution before you start your weekend, you’ll help put us back on track. John, despite what it may seem, sending these emails isn’t my favorite part of running for Governor. There’s nothing more important to me in this campaign than connecting directly with voters. Unfortunately, I can’t keep up my direct voter outreach work if our digital team fails to raise the resources we planned. The latest polls show that I’m still locked in a dead heat with my extremist opponent. With Mark Robinson and national Republicans spending MILLIONS to flood NC’s airwaves with attack ads against me, we won’t achieve victory without having the resources to spread our vision for NC far and wide.
